We are an affiliate of Main Street America and an Orlando Main Streets district. As a non-profit organization, our purpose is to help create economic vitality, revitalization and beautification along the Semoran Blvd. corridor by working together with our members, businesses, residents and community partners.
Funds raised from this, and all Gateway District events go to improvement, beautification and arts initiatives within the Semoran Blvd corridor.
Gateway Orlando is an official Main Street Organization operating in partnership with the City of Orlando. As a non-profit organization, our purpose is to help businesses along the Semoran Corridor grow and prosper. We do this by helping our member businesses build connections with the surrounding community and with each other. And with more than 500 businesses and 12,000 households along the Corridor, the business impact for our member businesses is substantial.
Main Street AmericaTM has been helping revitalize older and historic commercial districts for more than 35 years. Today it is a network of more than 1,600 neighborhoods and communities, rural and urban, who share both a commitment to place and to building stronger communities through preservation-based economic development. Main Street America is a program of the nonprofit National Main Street Center, a subsidiary of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
